Welcome to Penn State's AD/PR Club! Previously Penn State's Ad Club, we made some changes during the 2017-2018 school year as we are now incorporating public relations into the focus of our club. Our goal is to educate and guide students in The College of Communications as they take on their journey as Penn Staters and eventually go on into the workforce. Being a part of the Penn State AD/PR Club offers students the opportunity to learn about the industry, develop the necessary skills needed to earn internships and jobs, and become engaged with their fellow students as well as alumni and other industry professionals.

We host a variety of meetings, events, guest speakers and more throughout the year to give our members a deeper look into the fields of advertising/public relations, as well as other areas of communications.  Each Monday night event is tailored to a specific area within the communications realm, offering students a well-rounded event schedule that allows them to learn about all aspects of the field.

If you have any questions, please email our President, at lvm5534@psu.edu or DM us on Instagram @pennstateadprclub or Facebook.

The Penn State AD/PR Club is the Donald W. Davis chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). AD/PR Club offers members a chance to research and produce a comprehensive advertising and marketing plan as part of the AAF’s year-long National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC). Penn State’s Competition Team is also known as the Nittany Group. Students can become involved with the Nittany Group their junior year and can then earn credit via placement in Comm 425 their second semester Senior year. For more information about the Nittany Group and the National Student Advertising Competition, please reach out to Ken Yednock, key2@psu.edu.
